Supervielle received the gold award by Fintech Americas in its 9th edition of the Country Awards for Financial Innovators in the Americas

April 9, 2024

Grupo Supervielle announces that its main subsidiary, Banco Supervielle, obtained the gold award in the Country Awards for Financial Innovators in the Americas, organized by Fintech Americas. In this ninth edition, the bank stood out among 351 nominations from 17 countries that participated to demonstrate their technological adaptation in the financial services industry. This recognition was achieved for the development of a Video Call solution and, soon, WhatsApp, which integrates with a 360-degree view of the customer supported by artificial intelligence in order to understand the needs, frictions, and doubts they face when seeking a solution and being able to satisfy them.

The video call service allows customers to contact an executive from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Additionally, the service is already available for the Entrepreneurs and SMEs segment.

“We are proud to receive this recognition that reflects the effort of our employees to provide a more innovative and personalized service, always placing the customer at the center,” shared Javier Tiburzio, Digital Transformation Manager at Banco Supervielle, and added: “At Supervielle, we seek to improve that moment of service and interaction with our customers following our Human Banking philosophy so that they receive not only assertive but also empathetic responses when seeking to address their financial needs. In 2023, we received more than 188,000 video calls, of which more than 10% were made from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., having a face-to-face experience with a customer services representative and outside the usual branch hours, so we will continue working so that more users dare to access this service that combines the human closeness with the latest advances in technology.“

The panel evaluated winners using the Fintech Americas’ VERITAS scoring system, which reflects the following critical attributes: Viability, Empathy, Rigor, Ingenuity, Traction, Achievable Economy, and Sustainable Impact. The Country Awards for Financial Innovators in the Americas aim to identify, highlight, and promote individuals, teams, and projects that are transforming the financial landscape in the Americas, seeking to make it more agile, efficient, and inclusive.
