Grupo Supervielle participated in «Ring the Bell for Gender Equality»
This initiative seeks to promote the participation of women in the financial world and promote companies to take concrete actions
On March 16, 2020, Grupo Supervielle participated in the «Ring the Bell for Gender Equality» event. Grupo Supervielle prioritizes gender equality and equal opportunities at the workplace. To that end, the Company not only supports this initiative, but is also a member of BYMA’s “Good Corporate Governance” panel, which considers the gender perspective, among other issues for member companies.
Organized by the National Securities Commission (CNV), the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange (BCBA) and BYMA (Argentine Stock Exchanges and Markets), the fourth edition of this event was led by Claudio Zuchovicki, who moderated the “Equality Generation” panel and «Market Initiatives». During each presentation, specific data from the sector was shared and, among them, the National Securities Commission reported that currently only 11.4% of management positions at local listed companies are held by women. The ceremony ended with the traditional ringing of the bell for gender equality in the corporate sector.
